2012 Convention and cosplay plans

With Naru2u done (and going quite well, in my opinion) it's time to focus on plans for 2012! 
Probably will be updated throughout the year, if I don't forget!
GAnime 2012
... I can't go
Unfortunately, this year the con conflicts with a competition I'll be participating in for school (Global Game Jam). People who are going, please bring back lots of pictures and stories!
Anime North 2012
Costume: Sakura (cherry blossom outfit) from Tsubasa Chronicle, along with three friends as Fai, Kurogane and Syaoran in the matching outfits. I'm so excited for this group. It's going to be a bit of a challenge, because I live 3 hours away from my groupmates, but with lots of coordination (and internet!) we'll be able to do it!
We're aiming to enter the masquerade in these outfits, which will be a bit scary because it'll be my first time entering in Master class, and at AN no less
I'll be with friends though, so it won't be as scary!
Con Bravo 2012
Costume: Masquerade volunteer 8) Will be attending this one to visit friends and hopefully volunteer for the masquerade. Also harass Nat. But she already knows this.
Otakuthon 2012
Costume: Warlock tier 10 (Sanctified Dark Coven's Regalia), World of Warcraft.
I'm probably crazy for trying this, but the outfit inspires me, and I'm really looking to challenge myself and making something that isn't a pretty princess for once

This one is a maybe, but my cosplay BFF and I are hoping to make it to this one this year Road trip!
Blizzcon 2012
...a girl is allowed to dream right? lol. I'd love to make it back to Blizzcon, but I'm going to be able to this year

Hola Deviantart!
Sorry I've been completely inactive for the past little while. Life has a way of eaten all free time :') I promise to be more active on here and start commenting more on the amazing things people are posting!
Life's been pretty hectic. Right after Anime North I started a new job, and I'm busy packing for my move on the 1st of July! I'm also starting to work on my cosplay lineup for Otakuthon. My main costume is going to be Belle's gown from Beauty and the Beast, and if it turns out well I'm going to give the masquerade a shot. This year at AN I won an award with my revamped Sakura gown, which was exciting because wining an award at the AN masquerade has been my dream for years, but it also means that I need to compete in Master class now, eeeek! Not sure if I'm ready, but maybe I'll wet my feet at Otakuthon!
I'm also working on a super secret ballgown that I'll hopefully also have done for Otakuthon. It's uh, a pretty silly concept that I came up with on the car ride home from AN, but will hopefully be amusing!

... Till GAnime! And apart from a final coat of paint and gems to be added to the tiara, my costume is done
At this point the only thing I'm nervous about is driving there and finding a parking spot lol. Hopefully we'll get there early enough to get one!
